Artist Statement

Maya Rose Weiss works with diverse mediums: metal, fiber, clay, paint, and wax. She engages in a methodical, almost meditative process of transmutation. Maya honors the historical legacy of women's creative traditions while pushing their boundaries through experimentation and continuous learning.
